Book summary:
Juliette now knows she may be the only one who can stop the Reestablishment. But to take them down, she'll need the help of the one person she never thought she could trust: Warner. And as they work together, Juliette will discover that everything she thought she knew - about Warner, her abilities, and even Adam - was wrong.
“And we are quotation marks, inverted and upside down, clinging to one another at the end of this life sentence. Trapped by lives we did not choose.”
Rarely do my reviews star this way, but this quote is something I couldn't get out of my head for a while. It's simple and beautiful and such metaphors should be. I'm happy to inform you that this series ended this way. Deeply cut into my heart where it'll stay.

Ever since Shatter Me I guessed that this series is start of something amazing and while I enjoyed meeting Juliette and Adam as well as Warner in that book nothing could prepare me for Unravel Me which made me become an addict when it comes to this series. It was amazing how the author managed to create such strong characters which were good but doing bad things or bad but somehow though they were fighting for a good thing. The whole society as such was torn between that idea. Not to mention the representation of magic powers and their interpretation as well as their usage in the story. Of course, one of my favorite sidekicks in the history of sidekicks Kenji whose story I'd love to read.

It all lead to the Ignite Me where the author brought her magic once again. It's hard to talk about this book without spoiling things but I guess that some won't be happy with the change in Adam's character but if you read the short story - Fracture Me you'll know that it's inevitable for it to happen. But that aside Warner is one of the best developed character in my opinion. His transformations are something that created such turning points not only for him but for the people around him as well. Then there is Juliette who grew in front us and whose power grew parallel with her.

At the end what makes me love this book and this series this much is every single emotion, and there were many of them, which showed on my face and were felt in my heart while reading. Honestly, I had to hug my Kindle at the end with tears in my eyes and that tells you all you need to know.

Rating: 5 stars.

Until the next time,

  5. I cant wait to get my hands on Ignite Me. Shatter Me was an average read for me but Unravel Me was where everything started to really kick in. I'm dying to find out what happens to Warner! Loved the review and that's a awesome quote.

  6. Yup, I so agree. Loved the quote you started out with, it's one of my favorites. I know a lot of the people disappointed with this one preferred Adam. I didn't read the Fracture Me novella so I was surprised at his character development but otherwise loved the book.

  7. Very happy to see a 5 star rating from you, dear. I avoided this series because of the exaggerated similes and whatnot in the first book, but with everyone giving the ending so many praising reviews, I'm left wondering if perhaps I was too hasty in my dismissing it. I really need to reconsider!
